Giorni fa pensavo all'espressione "volente o nolente", e mi è passto in mente che in inglese sarebbe potuta suonare bene come "Willing or Nilling". Ho scoperto, però, che "nilling" me lo sono inventato del tutto. In inglese (pare) "volente o nolente" è tradotto come "willy-nilly", che è anche carina come cosa, ma non mi pare sia molto adatta a situazioni formali. Invece "volente o nolente" lo si può anche usare in quei casi.
